our first family trip to sunriver

our first family trip - yeahhhh!!! sunriver was the perfect weekend getaway for us all. matt and i were able to kick up our feet up for 10 minutes :), coops was able to eat bones all day and go on long walks, and baby was able to see our friends - frankie, nick, katie and melissa. i think they all enjoyed meeting the little man - hopefully it will prompt someone to hop on our baby wagon! :)

b-rev circ. went well, he's recovering nicely! my doctor recommened i take fenugreek (it's been known to increase milk supply since the biblical times) it's worked REALLY well. no shortage here.

my mom has this week off so i can do a few things around the house. my daily goals sure have dwindle down to about 1 task a day. today is - go to the Nursery and buy some fall plants. i probably won't have time until next week to plant!

brev's nursery

1 month old celebration

hola,

first off, brev's cousin finally came last sunday am - august 17th at 5:45am at a whoopin - 9 lbs 7oz...he's going to be our nose guard and brev will be our wide receiver. we're SOOOO happy to have him in this big world! i believe we'll get to meet Izaak Weylon next week. Katie (his mommy) and Ry (his daddy) are doing great!!!!

brev is turning one month old tomorrow and is celebrating with a circumcision (what nice way to celebrate, huh)! brev is doing wonderful - still eating like a mad man, i can hardly keep up with his eating. i had ample flow of milk at the beginning and then when i started to breastfeed the milk supply went down so i've been doing a lot of reading as to how to keep it steady or increase. any tips, let me know!

sleeping is up and down. we had two great nights and thought he might be in a "routine" but last night he proved us wrong - up about every hour fussing...:)

we've kept him pretty darn busy the last couple of weeks...and we keep telling him, it's the hill way of life, and he's been more than willing to hop into the car seat, the bob or mom's arms and let us cart him around.

hello there,

been quite the busy week for us all! first off, the boy is doing WONDERFUL! we had our first doctor's appointment and he checked out perfectly. his daddy loves loves making sure he's extra full so he's packing on the lbs - which is great right now! i believe he is a little over 8lbs which is nice because regular clothes finally fit. we can sit and watch him for hours, he's such a kick. i've noticed he's pretty darn strong - he's already lifting his head and switching it from side to side and also trying to push himself up with his legs while having "tummy time"...is that normal? set me straight if it...:) brev's grandparents each got a turn watching him this weekend while matt and i went to brooks and dunn, and then floated the river the following day. it was nice to get out but we sure missed him. my sister in law, katie, (who has/had the same due date as me, is rounding the corner to deliver. we're praying she has it soon, but also, that she doesn't deliver until next weekend so matt and i can drive down to berkeley to be a part of it).
